Pastor Tammie Fleming is a wife, mother of two, and proud grandmother of one. For more than 20 years, she has faithfully served as a dynamic preacher and teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For over 15 of those years, she has stewarded Sisters United in Christ (S.U.I.C.), a ministry devoted to empowering women of all ethnicities to become all God created them to be—by revealing the many facets of who God is.

Her work reaches far beyond the pulpit. Pastor Tammie is an author, YouTuber, and the Owner and CEO of Firestarter Coaching, LLC, a life and relationship coaching business serving both men and women. She is actively involved in her community as a member of the Pee Dee Business and Professional Women’s Network, a mentor with Jobs for Life, and the President of the Board for The Place of Healing, a women’s shelter committed to restoration and hope.

At the heart of Pastor Tammie’s life and ministry is a clear call from God, rooted in Luke 4:18:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are abused, depressed, stressed, and oppressed.”

This scripture isn’t just something she preaches—it’s something she lives. Pastor Tammie’s greatest joy is demonstrating the love of God alongside His power and authority. Her heart’s desire is simple yet profound: to be pleasing to her Father with everything He has entrusted to her.

Wellness as Stewardship: A Word for This Season

When asked about wellness of the mind and body, Pastor Tammie shared a powerful and timely perspective that deeply aligns with the mission of HIS Organics:

“In this season, when it comes to wellness in our minds and bodies, God is strategically raising up His children to learn about the bodies we are to steward well in order to live a long, wealthy, productive life.”

She reminds us that life begins with understanding how to properly possess and care for our bodies—our temples. Nourishment is both physical and spiritual, and while food is essential, she warns that the wrong foods threaten our longevity.

“God desires that we put ourselves in spaces to learn the correct way to nourish the body and live as He intended from the beginning.”

In a rapidly changing world, Pastor Tammie calls believers to wisdom—to embrace change, seek knowledge, and become intentional about the foods we purchase daily. She speaks honestly about the cost of eating better, while anchoring that cost in truth:

“Our bodies are valuable. We only get one. Let’s be good stewards and good students.”

That message resonates deeply with us. Wellness is not about trends—it’s about obedience, stewardship, and honoring God with the one body we’ve been given.

Winds of Hope
